Smokey Mountain National Park

I've spent the last day and a half in The Great Smokey Mountain National Park having a great time, doing some hiking and of course taking photos. Typical photographers law, when you only have a short amount of time, the weather & clouds don't want to cooperate.

Another photographer law, "Always Take Your Camera", well I broke that one and have been grumbling about it ever since. Knowing I wasn't going to take any long exposure shots on our hike up to Clingmans Dome, I decided I didn't want to hoof my gear. Well about half way up we came across a Black Bear only 20 feet from the trail and all I had was my iPhone :-(

Without any nice clouds around for long exposure landscape shots, I've focused mostly on moving water and when the sun was out, Infrared. I'll have a little time in the morning to shoot and then we'll be heading back to Georgia and then home on Saturday.
